Newcastleton Bunkhouse Hostel

Went for a walk in the countryside and felt like a true adventurer! The bunkhouse had everything we needed, even a clean kitchen! Super friendly staff. Will definitely come back.if I can find the time!

I had a great time at the bunkhouse. The countryside around is beautiful and peaceful. The bunkhouse was fully equipped and had all the facilities I needed. The kitchen and rooms were clean. The staff and people were friendly and supportive. I enjoyed my trip and would love to visit again!

The rooms at Newcastleton Bunkhouse were super cozy and comfortable, with a private bathroom and fresh bed linen. They even had towels provided, which was a nice touch. I loved the rooms with a patio, it gave a great outdoor space to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. As a laid-back traveler, I couldn't have asked for more!

One small thing I didn't particularly fancy was that some rooms at the hostel also had a patio. It's just my personal preference, but I prefer the indoorsy vibes.

The common areas were well-maintained and had comfortable seating, perfect for relaxation. As a senior woman, I really appreciated how accessible the bunkhouse was for older guests. The walkways were wide and well-lit, and there were handrails in the right places to provide extra support. It made me feel safe and confident navigating the premises.

The only thing I would have asked for to make my vacation even better as a senior woman is if the children working there could have been a bit more knowledgeable about nearby attractions and public transportation options. It would have been helpful to have more information readily available to help plan our day trips.

The countryside walk was mind-blowing, the bunkhouse is super-equipped with clean facilities, and the friendly staff made our trip unforgettable. We'll be back!
